Hello World!

Hi, my name is Simon Nguyen and I also go by an online pseudo name siQuang. I started out as a designer back in 1996 and have worked for couples companies in Irvine, California. But my passion for technology and computer has lead me down a path to become a software developer in which I still love today and learning each day. For the past 12 years, I've been developing and maintaining a system called CCMS short for Card Club Management System that handles a day-to-day operation related to the gaming and card clubs industry.

Throughout my journey, I ran into lots of challenges and difficulties, but with challenges also come rewards. As Steve Maraboli said, “When you do what you love, the seemingly impossible becomes simply challenging, the laborious becomes purposeful resistance, the difficult loses its edge and is trampled by your progress.”

Through all the years that I've been developing, creating, designing, and learning. If you ask me what is my greatest asset, I will simply say it's my teachable mind. A mind that is willing to be taught and to learn from others.

siQtheme - a responsive admin template with bootstrap 4 and webpack [ Dark/Light Mode ]

Description

The entire world is going through a difficult times and many have lost their love ones and suffered in many ways. It is this reason that siQtheme was born out of Love. Hope you will like it as much as I enjoy creating this.

siQtheme is a responsive admin template created with Bootstrap 4 and using Webpack with Laravel-Mix. Webpack is a module bundler primarily for JavaScript, but it can transform front-end assets like HTML, CSS, and images if the corresponding loaders are included.

You can see how this theme was applied to a web application that I'm developing below.

siQventory

Description

siQventory is an inventory system that tracks both products and services. Developed using CodeIgniter 3 and utilizing the siQtheme. CodeIgniter is not the most modern PHP framework but it is still a powerful and secured framework to build a web application. It has a small footprint and plays well with most shared hosting providers (this is for many of you who uses shared hosting). siQventory comes with an installer script for easy installation without touching any part of the codes.

Another inventory system?

I needed some type of inventory for myself to keep track of the products that I sell. I've tested a few free and paid inventory systems and either they are too basic or too complicated for what I need. So I decided to write an inventory system for my purpose and needs. Why do I release this as an open-source project? Giving back to the community in which I have learned so much throughout the years and because I like to share and learn from others =)
